NOW HIRING a Maintenance Clerk for our Injection Molding maintenance department.
Shift:  M-F 7am - 3pm

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Clerk supports the Maintenance Department by managing and organizing maintenance records, work orders, inventory, and procurement of parts and supplies.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth operations in an injection molding facility by keeping accurate documentation and facilitating timely maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work orders, PM schedules, and repair logs.
• Issue, track, and close work orders using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Order and receive maintenance parts, supplies, and tools as needed; maintain stock levels.
• Assist with scheduling and tracking preventive maintenance (PM) tasks for injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Maintain equipment files and documentation, including manuals, schematics, and service history.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotes, orders, and deliveries.
• Perform data entry and generate maintenance-related reports as requested.
• Support maintenance technicians by organizing tools, materials, and information required for tasks.
• Assist in compliance with safety and environmental regulations related to equipment and maintenance practices.
• Provide general administrative support to the maintenance team.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 1–2 years of clerical or administrative experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably injection molding.
• Familiarity with maintenance systems and terminology.
• Experience using CMMS software is a plus.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of injection molding equipment.
• Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical maintenance concepts.
• Experience working in a lean manufacturing or ISO-certified environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs) for organizing or handling parts and materials.
• Exposure to a factory environment, including noise, heat, and moving machinery.
