Train and direct the activities of production personnel in the areas of Safety. - Ensure that all employees are properly trained in safe operation of production equipment, and that all safety rules are enforced. - Ensure that all production personnel report and/or correct unsafe conditions. - Monitor employee behavior regarding safe work performance. - Utilize the Green Cross to facilitate continuous improvement dialogue regarding Safety, investigate safety incidents through re-enactments, and ensure all Safety knowledge sharing is taught and documented. - Ensure Lock out / Tag out procedures are followed. - Ensure that all employees have and properly use appropriate safety equipment. - Participate in safety committee’s where applicable. 2. Responsible for always meeting IWT’s Quality Policy and Standards – World Class People Producing World Class Products. - Ensure all production personnel are properly trained to IWT’s quality standards through the use of the Quality Plan and ensure all customers receive product that meets or exceeds customer standards and expectations. - Ensure all quality measurements are properly recorded at the scheduled intervals. - Ensure all raw material lot numbers are properly obtained and recorded. - Evaluate Rework, Scrap, and other wastes to the operation and resolve through root cause corrective actions. 3. Promote Teamwork throughout the plant. - Supervise the activities of Lead Operators and general production labor. - Work in conjunction with the onsite team, satellite resources, contractors, production schedules, etc. - Foster an environment that solicits feedback, input, and buy in from all team members. 4. Coordinate with other shift Supervisors, Logistics Coordinators, and Plant Managers to ensure that all safety, daily production goals, and quality standards are being met. - Schedule production to meet customer demand and safety stock requirements. 5. Schedule and facilitate daily production meetings utilizing Lean Cube and promoting Continuous Improvement using established metrics, operator, and shift data, etc.   6. The Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance of employee calendars, documentation of attendance or performance corrective actions, counseling, vacation scheduling and appropriate staffing to meet production needs within budget limits. Measure and identify opportunities to reduce employee turnover.   7. Train and direct the activities of production personnel in the areas of equipment operation, quality control requirements, standards and procedures, and recognition of material which should be reworked or scrapped. - Maintain training documentation. 8. Monitor machine efficiency records / tally sheets, analyze, and assist in determining problems when efficiency rate is below standard. - Track OEE, changeovers, downtime, scrap records, rejects, and plan adequate corrective actions for improvements. - Proactive in addressing inefficiencies. - Schedule product change-over to minimize down-time and loss of productivity. 9. Monitor general labor including Full Time and Temporary Labor, OT, and overall labor metrics pursuing the Corporate Goal of being the Low-Cost Producer.   10. Prepare and maintain necessary production records, machine efficiency records, scrap reports, and other reports as required.   11. Ensure all 6S tasks are performed daily, weekly, monthly and are continuously improved toward a world class operations facility.   12. Experience with a MRP system, Logistics, and have general freight industry knowledge.   13. Operate and trouble shoot manufacturing equipment including Automation (Robotics, AGV’s, AMR’s. PLC, Pneumatics, Electrical, and data management).   14. Operate and trouble shoot manufacturing equipment including EZflow bead expansion, hydraulics, thermodynamics, welding, etc. Work with the Plant Manager or maintenance technician to ensure proper PM’s and maintenance activities are being executed on all equipment.   15. NOW HIRING a Material Analyst to join or team!  Work schedule is Monday - Friday 1pm-9pm   ROLE OVERVIEW: Mold and test throat-samples, ground-parts, blend-silos, incoming-lots, railcars, and vendor samples.  Mold and perform testing on an average of 100 full cell class tests and 10 railcars each week.  Perform multiple tasks simultaneously, while maintaining accuracy and expected output.  Additional responsibilities for this position include assisting with testing trial materials and trial products.  Perform work to ISO and ASTM standards and adhere to safe work practices.   JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform the molding and testing of the ASTM specimens according to detailed ASTM test protocols.  Perform complex testing on multiple testing machines simultaneously.  The ability to multi-task is a significant requirement. Job Purpose In this role, the qualified candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to operate manual and automated production machines to manufacture EZflow Septic and Drainage products that meet or exceed quality plan requirements. The candidate will support local supervision by ensuring all team members follow established standard safety rules, including PPE requirements. The candidate will be trained and expected to understand and meet their respective job requirements, namely in understanding equipment operation, LOTO and safe work methods, and TPM maintenance activities. This will require good communication with the shift supervisors and plant management team. The operator must meet or exceed the daily goals, including Yield, Scrap, Cycle time (parts per hour), Downtime, and any other metrics set by the leadership team. This is to be accomplished by operating the assigned machine and following the standard work while looking for continuous improvement opportunities.  This may include assisting and working with engineers who may be on site or working remotely. Overall, the qualified candidate should lead by example in maintaining and operating a world-class manufacturing facility to promote a safe and professional work environment.   Key Responsibilities and Duties - Maintain a World Class operation to ensure employee Safety. - Produce EZflow Septic and Drainage Pipe products. - Produce EZflow Septic and Drainage Agg products. - Produce Quality product and complete random quality checks as required. - Manual Machines: Secure Agg products with Pneumatic C-Ring gun and cut bundles with shears. - Manual machines: Secure Pipe product with cable ties both ends and cut pipe with tool. - Interface with the automated production machine through HMI Touch Screen, Zip Tie Gun, or product sensor adjustments. - Troubleshoot, adjust, or repair automation equipment to support customer demand and the overall production process. - Perform process troubleshooting and automation machine adjustments to maintain expected production rates and processing of quality parts.   - Collaborate with fellow team members. - Exchange rucked barrel sleeves on production machine. - Change / replace gaskets as necessary to ensure product meets established standards. - Complete TPM or routine maintenance as required. - Complete required paperwork throughout and after the shift and submit it to supervisor. - Contribute to Pre-shift meeting discussion driving continuous improvement. Experience, Educational and Technical Qualifications High School diploma and additional technical certifications preferred. General manufacturing and automation experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Basic math and reading comprehension skills, including the ability to read and document measurements. Communication skills both written and orally. Capable of demonstrating competency and the ability to work with and trouble shoot automation found in other fast-paced industries such as automotive, food and beverage, distribution warehouses, or other relevant technology spaces. Position is working onsite at our campus in Winchester, KY.   POSITION OVERVIEW:   The Virtualization Administrator is responsible for the setup and maintenance of the IT virtual environment. This includes creating, deploying, and maintaining network, server, and storage infrastructure that relies on VMware products. The Virtualization Administrator will also be responsible for ensuring security and compliance, troubleshooting potential issues, and effectively communicating and addressing problems, as well as establish backup and recovery procedures and maintaining documentation. In this role, you will also assist the Tier 1 and Tier 2 Helpdesk staff in providing end-user support, troubleshooting problems with Local Area Networks, license tracking, performing PC maintenance, PC upgrades, PC configurations, and other duties as required.   CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:   Responsibilities: - Implement Infrastructure: The Virtualization Administrator is responsible for building and installing computer infrastructure, which encompasses virtual storage, hardware, servers, and virtual machines, using a VMware vSphere environment. Afterward, they configure it for production by creating user accounts, controlling access to networks, and managing storage and security settings. - Perform Maintenance: Software must go through regular maintenance, and it’s up to the Virtualization Administrator to monitor client systems daily and pinpoint problem areas. They proactively design and install upgrades, releases, and application patches. On a less frequent basis, they also update drivers, servers, and firmware with newer technology. - Provide Technical Support: To always provide technical support to clients, the Virtualization Administrator will participate in an on-call schedule with the rest of the IT staff. Recommend Solutions: The Virtualization Administrator will participate heavily in planning - the IWT infrastructure alongside IT management.
